We were lucky enough to be sent some delicious Barny bars to review a few weeks ago. I have to confess that we hadn’t heard or tried Barny cake bars before, so Charlie was quite excited at being asked his opinion about cake!!
The sponge cakes are in the shape of a bear with a secret filling inside, either chocolate or a creamy milk filing. They make an excellent lunchbox treat & Charlie after reviewing them at home couldn’t wait to take them to school the next day to have at lunch time!!! Personally I preferred the milk filing where as Charlie like the chocolate the most!
The reverse side of the Barny boxes has some great fun facts, activities and some challenges as to what to do for an adventure! Encouraged by Barny to go and have some adventures of our own we set off to look at the autumn leaves around town!
I love Autumn. I know it signals the end of summer, warm weather and incoming dark nights but I LOVE IT!!!
I love going for a walk amongst the fallen leaves, hearing them crunch under foot, running into a big pile with the kids and kicking them up, I love the art work that gets done in primary schools with them, I love dark evenings & home cooked food, apple & blackberry crumble after a walk & best of all the colours!
After a short while we came across lots of trees that were just starting to change their colours and then some trees that had started to shed there leaves, so lots of nice crunching underfoot, but best of all as we returned home was a visitor in the garden….a frog!!!!
